Job summary

Hacksaw Studios in Stockholm is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. You will plan, coordinate, and support game projects from concept through to release, acting as a central point of coordination between departments to keep teams aligned and hit timelines.

You will own project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and facilitate kickoff and review meetings. The role requires strong communication in Swedish and English and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or production with multiple projects.
• Structured, organized, proactive approach to work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and define responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and ownership of assigned project areas.
• Ability to identify risks and seek guidance proactively.
• Open to feedback and developing ways of working.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned game projects from planning through delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and priorities.
• Coordinate across functions to ensure efficient workflow and alignment on scope, goals, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Monitor progress, quality, risks, and blockers; support teams in resolving issues.
• Facilitate project kick-offs, milestone check-ins, reviews, and other meetings.
• Keep Team Lead and stakeholders informed about progress, changes, risks, and key decisions.
• Participate in review cycles to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify workflow and tool improvements to strengthen quality and collaboration.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and player preferences.
