Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Specialist for embedded systems to ensure robustness, reliability, and security of driver-facing systems by applying HARA and FuSa expertise. You will join a multidisciplinary team in Sweden, working on climate control and driver interfaces such as cameras and airbags, with lifecycle accountability and documentation responsibilities.

Join ALTEN as a Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Specialist for embedded systems. In this role, you will ensure the robustness, reliability, and security of driver-facing systems by applying your expertise in Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and Functional Safety (FuSa).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will help the functional safety and cyber security questions within embedded systems in climate control. The team which you will be joining works with driver-facing systems, including climate control, airbags, camera systems, lock/alarm systems, and tachographs. The position involves document and materials research, lifecycle accountability and maintenance and spare part commitments

Must-Have Requirements:

• Expertise in HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) and Functional Safety (FuSa).
• Experience in Cyber Security for embedded systems.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, able to work with limited existing processes.
• Ability to develop, refine, and finalize technical documentation based on team feedback.
• Proven track record in system ownership, development leadership, and coordination.
