Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking an experienced System Designer to join an automotive project. You will develop and maintain electrical system solutions and ensure safe, robust vehicle functions in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

In this role you will define HW/SW requirements, coordinate system design and verification, and support Functional Safety activities including FMEA/FMECA. You will work with ECUs, sensors, actuators and other vehicle subsystems within the automotive industry.

• Strong background in system design and requirement management.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and ASIL.
• Experience with FMEA/FMECA.

ALTEN Sweden is looking for an experienced System Designer to join an exciting assignment within the automotive industry. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical system solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, robust, and high-quality vehicle functions.

About the role

• Develop electrical system solutions and requirements for vehicle subsystems.
• Define and coordinate HW and SW requirements.
• Work with system design, documentation, and verification.
• Perform FMEA/FMECA and support Functional Safety activities.
• Collaborate with System Architects, developers, and other stakeholders.

Who You Are

• Experience in Electrical System Development within automotive.
• Strong background in System Design and Requirement Management.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and ASIL.
• Experience with FMEA/FMECA.
• Familiar with Teamcenter, Elektra, CarWeaver, or similar tools.
• Experience working with ECUs, sensors, actuators, and vehicle systems.
• Experience from Automotive industry.
