Job summary

WeQuel in Västerås, Sweden, seeks a Functional Analyst to join our Factory IT & Digitalization team during the final phase of an MES implementation. You will blend advisory and hands-on work across requirements analysis, process mapping, MES configuration, testing, and digitalization initiatives.

You will work with production, engineering and Factory IT to optimize processes and support modern digital solutions across automated and manual production cells.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements analysis and business systems.
• Experience with SAP and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Strong understanding of business processes and digitalization within manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

In this role, you will combine advisory and hands-on responsibilities, supporting both projects and production lines through requirements analysis, business process mapping, MES configuration, testing, and digitalization initiatives. Must Have

Meritorious

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
• Programming experience.
• Experience with OEE measurement and/or production performance follow-up.
• Experience writing scripts using Python and/or Excel VBA.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI).
• Swedish language skills.
