Job summary

Wequel is seeking a Functional Analyst to join the Factory IT & Digitalization team, supporting the final phase of an MES implementation. You will blend advisory work with hands-on configuration and testing across production lines.

You will map processes, configure MES, prepare master data, and collaborate with production, engineering, and IT to drive digitalization and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements analysis and business systems.
• Experience working with SAP and/or MES.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and digitalization.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
• Programming experience.
• Experience with OEE measurement and production performance follow-up.
• Experience writing scripts in Python and/or Excel VBA.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI).
• Swedish language skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join a collaborative Factory IT & Digitalization team supporting the final phase of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation.

In this role, you will combine advisory and hands‑on responsibilities, supporting both projects and production lines through requirements analysis, business process mapping, MES configuration, testing, and digitalization initiatives. You will work closely with production, engineering, and Factory IT to help optimize manufacturing processes and support the implementation of modern digital solutions across automated and manual production cells.
