Tibber is an energy tech company on a mission to help households save energy and money. We’re hiring a Fullstack Engineer to help electrify homes and accelerate the energy transition with AI-enabled product features.

You’ll ship end-to-end features using JS/TS, Node, React and Next.js, collaborate with PMs and designers, and contribute to installer tools and Tibber’s online hardware store across AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Mission

As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in electrifying our customers’ homes, helping them save money and use energy more sustainably. We’re growing our Electrification team with two engineers: one focused on the software tools our installers use, one on our online hardware store. Both report to the team’s Engineering Manager.

What You'll Do

• Ship features end to end, working closely with your PM and designer.
• Co‑own the team's codebases with the engineers already there, and keep them healthy as we grow.
• Help the team move to agentic development, making AI a natural part of how we build.
• Talk to stakeholders and turn their needs into technical requirements, together with your PM and EM.
• Installer focus: Build the tools installers rely on in the field, from our React Native app and its gateway to a new web presence in Next.js.
• Ecom focus: Build and improve Tibber's online hardware store in Next.js, and the services behind it. Right now that means checkout improvements and agentic features.

What We're Looking For

You are driven by impact and know how to turn strategy into execution. You're used to fast-paced environments and thrive when given clear goals and high accountability.

We Believe You'll Thrive Here If You

• Are strong in JS/TS and Node, and hands-on with React and Next.js. React Native, Expo or an ecommerce background is a plus.
• Have built or worked on event-driven systems.
• Are comfortable working in AWS, with tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, CircleCI and ArgoCD.
• Enjoy working closely with designers, PMs and fellow engineers to build great user experiences together.
• Are humble and transparent, and a generalist who enjoys covering many areas.
• Want AI in your daily dev loop. Tibber is becoming more AI-enabled, and you're excited to help our team make that shift.
