Job summary

Bruce Studios in Stockholm is seeking a Fullstack Developer to join our Tech team and help shape products used by thousands every day. You will build backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces across B2C and B2B platforms, collaborating with Product, Design, and Commercial teams to translate needs into features.

You’ll own the quality, reliability, and maintainability of what you build, while contributing to product and architectural decisions and continuously improving our development

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fullstack development.
• Strong collaboration and clear communication.
• Interest in usability and great user experiences.
• Ownership mindset and responsibility.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Proficiency with Go, Python, and frontend frameworks (Svelte/React).
• Experience with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain features across B2C and B2B platforms (backend, APIs, frontend, databases).

Your mission

In this role, you'll combine technical execution with product ownership - building and improving the digital products, backend services, and tools that create value for our members, employers, and partners. You'll play a key role across our platforms, working with many different services, platforms and technologies.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, test, and maintain features across our B2C and B2B platforms - from backend services and APIs to frontend interfaces and databases.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Commercial teams to translate member and business needs into features that ship.
• Take responsibility for the quality, reliability, and maintainability of what you build, balancing speed, simplicity, and long-term scalability.
• Identify opportunities to improve our products, systems, and ways of working, and help drive them from idea to implementation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and help ensure a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help shape our product and architectural decisions.
• Continuously improve our development practices, tools, and processes.

What we want you to bring

• At least 3 years of experience as a developer in a fullstack role.
• An interest in usability and building great user experiences.
• A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Curiosity for learning and understanding how things work
• We primarily build with Go, Python, and Svelte/React, but we value strong engineering skills, curiosity, and attitude/ cultural fit above experience with any particular language or framework.
• Experience with AI tools and a willingness to use them to make yourself and the team more effective.

Nice to have

• Experience working with B2B platforms.
• Interest in or experience with digital health, fitness, or wellness products.
