Job summary

Equal IT in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Engineer to join one of their autonomous product teams. You will own architectural decisions, decide what ships, and ensure production performance while helping others grow.

We value depth over preferred stack and welcome full-stack, backend-heavy, or frontend-heavy profiles. The role requires 5+ years shipping production software, and the team operates with a hybrid model: 3 days per week in central Stockholm.

Equal IT are partnered with a fast-growing, well-established SaaS company based in Stockholm.

Their enterprise software is trusted by global brands, and right now they are making a genuine investment in embedding AI across the entire engineering org, not just baking it into the product.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join one of their autonomous product teams. You will have real ownership from architectural decisions through to what ships and how it performs in production, and you will be expected to bring others up with you, not just write good code solo.

What you will be working with:

• TypeScript / Angular on the frontend (experience from other frameworks is fine)
• C# / .NET on the backend
• Full-stack, backend-heavy, or frontend-heavy are all welcome. They care more about depth than which side of the stack you lean toward.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years building and shipping production software
• Genuine ownership mentality where you don't wait to be told what to fix
• Comfortable with pair/mob programming, and you enjoy helping less experienced engineers level up
• Experience working with AI in production
• Strong communicator and collaborative technical contributor who can challenge technical direction, drive initiatives forward, and communicate effectively with both technical and business/commercial stakeholders.
