Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking an engineer to own Sana’s TypeScript/React/Node foundations and the monorepo tooling. You will design and maintain build systems, tooling, and workflows that enable fast, safe shipping.

The role combines performance, security, and testing across frontend and Node services. You’ll shape CI/CD pipelines, define best practices for web development, and partner with product engineers to remove friction through robust architecture.

Qualifications

5+ years in a similar role with web architecture and developer experience.
Experience with modern web stacks and performance-focused development.
Strong collaboration and tooling emphasis across teams.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve Sana’s TypeScript/React/Node foundations and monorepo tooling.
Maintain build systems, dependency management, and shared services.
Design fast, reliable local development, testing, and build workflows.
Optimize web performance, reliability, and security across frontend and services.
Shape testing strategy and CI/CD pipelines; champion best practices.
Collaborate with product engineers to remove friction via tooling.
