As an early member of the evroc Console team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our innovative cloud technology. Your contributions will not only focus on coding but will also influence the architecture of our applications and the overall engineering culture. What You’ll Tackle

• Deliver Next Generation Cloud Computing Products: Design and implement responsive, intuitive, and efficient next‑generation Cloud Developer Experiences.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Optimise Performance: Create a scalable framework for building our UI which allows us to spend most of our engineering time on a small number of highly differentiated areas.
• Contribute to Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Implement Testing Strategies: Utilise testing frameworks like Playwright and Jest to ensure the reliability and stability of the codebase through rigorous testing practices.
• Stay Current with Technologies: Continuously explore and implement cutting‑edge technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our development processes and improve user experience.

Collaboration & Curiosity

• Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
• Curiosity around AI: Interest in exploring how AI can enhance development and user experience.

• Proficiency in Modern Front‑End Technologies: Strong skills in a modern JavaScript framework (bonus if you have familiarity with Svelte), knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and NodeJS experience also desired.
• Cloud Based Computing Experience: Experience in using developer tooling of a cloud based computing platform such as AWS; experience or knowledge of Kubernetes not necessary, but strongly valued.
• Responsive Design: Experience with responsive web design principles.
