Job summary

LeoVegas Group is seeking a hands‑on Senior Application Security Engineer to join as a founding member of the security team. You will shape security for our consumer platforms and cloud infrastructure, balancing compliance with agility to grow the business.

You’ll embed security into the software development lifecycle, drive security testing across web and mobile apps, and partner with engineering and product to champion a Security by Design culture while collaborating with Google on AI security

Qualifications

• Strong background in securing high‑scale, consumer‑facing apps across mobile and web.
• Ability to read and audit code in modern high‑level languages and use automated tools.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS).
• Working knowledge of cloud security, Kubernetes, and microservices at scale.
• Experience in industries with strict compliance (iGaming, Fintech, Healthcare).
• Automation of security workflows with Python or similar.
• Ability to explain risk to non‑technical stakeholders and balance business goals with security.

Responsibilities

• Secure the Development Lifecycle by embedding security at design time and during releases.
• Audit Web & Native Applications through security testing and code review.
• Protect the API surface with focus on authorization and abuse prevention.
• Defend the perimeter by tuning WAF and DDoS mitigation for uptime and revenue.
• Secure cloud infrastructure and harden cloud environments.
• Automate security checks and reduce manual toil across pipelines.
• Provide compliance support for regulatory and ISO certifications.
• Partner with engineering and product to promote a Security by Design culture.
• Collaborate with Google to shape AI security frameworks.
