Job summary

Scania in Södertälje, Sweden, is seeking a First Line Manager to lead a newly formed Quality Assurance team within TRATON R&D's Vehicle Service Information (VSI) organization. You will balance people leadership with hands-on activities to ensure quality, stability, and reliable releases for The Workshop Suite (TWS) across brands.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership with ability to develop and motivate people.
• Experience driving change and improving processes in a collaborative way.
• Experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance or Test Management.
• Strong communication skills in English (and Swedish).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a newly formed Quality Assurance team of 10–12 specialists.
• Drive testing strategy, automation, and release management capabilities.
• Strengthen QA capabilities and improve ways of working across the org.
• Collaborate with software development, product management, and stakeholders.
• Support quality throughout the development lifecycle from requirements to release.
