Job summary

TRATON Finans AB is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee accounting and reporting for designated markets. You will drive monthly, quarterly and annual closings, manage reconciliations, and perform variance analysis while interacting with external auditors and authorities.

A strong Excel background and data-driven mindset are essential for shaping reporting structures. The role requires a finance/economics/business degree and 4–5 years in accounting or financial control.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics or business administration.
• 4–5 years of accounting/financial control experience.
• Experience in financial group reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build financial models.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a merit.
• Experience in international groups or Big 4 is a merit.
• Experience in banking, finance or insurance is a merit.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting for your designated market(s).
• Day-to-day accounting and reconciliations.
• Variance analysis and cost control.
• VAT / tax.
• Coordinate and manage statutory financial statements.
• High ownership in driving reporting structures, processes and data flows.
• Main contact with external auditors and authorities.
• Participate in change projects regarding new or modified products and services.
