Job summary

Jobtailor in Sweden seeks an experienced accountant to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and manage day-to-day accounting and reconciliations.

You will ensure reporting compliance with external and internal requirements, drive accounting projects, and take primary responsibility for VAT and tax processes across two geographic entities, all while collaborating in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 3 years of accounting or audit experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Collaborative, dynamic work environment with varied responsibilities.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience from banking, financial services, insurance, or large organizations is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and Agresso experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Be responsible for day-to-day accounting and reconciliations.
• Perform and ensure reporting compliance with external and internal reporting requirements.
• Contribute to and independently drive accounting-related projects and initiatives.
• Take primary responsibility for VAT and tax processes in two geographic entities.
