Job summary

IKEA Älmhult is seeking a Financial Specialist to join IMC’s Finance Team on a one-year temporary contract. You will handle invoicing, financial data recording, and monthly closings, collaborating with business, project operation, and accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and policy compliance.

You will also support financial analyses, ad-hoc reporting, and training in finance tools, with strong emphasis on Excel and core systems like Power BI, Dynamics, SAP, and Basware.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business and Economics or corresponding knowledge.
• Good knowledge in project control, business administration and reporting.
• Fluent in Swedish and English (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of Swedish accounting and tax rules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Familiarity with relevant systems: Coda, Power BI, Dynamics, PlanView, SAP, Basware.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, recording financial data, and supporting financial follow-ups.
• Contribute to integration between financial routines and project operation.
• Ensure monthly closing routines and correct recording of sales and income.
• Prepare invoicing documents, handover, and retention of payment collection notifications to IKEA markets.
• Provide financial reporting and analyses to support decision making.
• Support business with ad-hoc reporting and training in financial tools.
