Job summary

Viaplay Group in Stockholm is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join our Global Business Services team. You will support Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Travel & Expense, and Record-to-Report processes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely finance operations.

If you bring 2+ years in accounting, ERP experience, and strong analytical and communication skills in Swedish and English, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience with solid bookkeeping principles.
• Experience in finance operations, accounting or shared services.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, expense management or GL.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance tools.
• Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and improve processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

The role

As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our finance operations processes. Working within our Global Business Services team, you will support key finance activities across Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Travel & Expense, and Record-to-Report processes.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the business, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure high-quality service delivery, process efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and executing daily finance operations activities across multiple finance processes

• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through proactive support and communication

• Monitoring process performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to process enhancements

• Supporting compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, policies, and procedures

• Preparing and communicating updates, progress, challenges, and insights to stakeholders and management

• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation within the team

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes

• Experience working within finance operations, accounting, shared services, or a similar finance-focused environment

• Good understanding of financial processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expense Management, or General Ledger activities

• Experience working with ERP systems and finance-related tools

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders

• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience from a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Service Center environment

• Experience participating in process improvement or transformation initiatives

• A can-do attitude, sense of humor and the ability to work humbly with others
