Job summary

SANY Northern Europe is seeking Field Service Technicians to support cranes, excavators and other heavy equipment across Sweden, Norway and Finland. The role emphasizes hands-on service at customer sites and dealer workshops with a strong focus on troubleshooting and maintenance.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be able to communicate in English. Some travel within the Nordic region is required, and relocation from outside the EU/EEA is not offered at this time.

Field Service Technician – Cranes / Excavators / Heavy Equipment

Location: Sweden

Employment Type: Full-time

SANY Northern Europe is expanding its service organization and is looking for Field Service Technicians with experience in different types of construction and heavy equipment.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in areas such as cranes, excavators, mining and off-highway trucks, construction machinery, heavy vehicles and other mechanical equipment.

Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant technical or service experience are welcome to apply.

The role is based in Sweden and includes both direct customer service and technical support to SANY dealers across Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Depending on your experience and technical background, you may primarily support one or several SANY product categories.

Please note that we are currently unable to relocate candidates from outside the EU/EEA for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of SANY machinery at customer sites and workshops.
• Support different SANY product lines, including cranes, excavators, mining and off-highway trucks and other construction equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Support machine commissioning, delivery inspections and technical checks.
• Provide technical and service support to SANY dealers across Sweden, Norway and Finland.
• Support dealers with troubleshooting, repair guidance, service coordination and product-related technical matters.
• Communicate with customers and dealers regarding machine condition, service requirements and completed work.
• Document service activities, repairs and technical findings.
• Cooperate with local colleagues, dealers and SANY technical teams across Europe.
• Participate in technical and product training provided by SANY.
• Travel within Sweden and, when required, to Norway and Finland for customer and dealer support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in service, maintenance, repair or troubleshooting of machinery, vehicles or technical equipment.
• Able to communicate in English in a working environment.
• Good mechanical and technical understanding.
• Willingness to travel for customer and dealer support.Responsible, customer-oriented and able to work independently.

Experience with cranes, excavators, construction equipment, mining machinery, trucks, agricultural machinery or similar equipment is highly relevant.

Previous experience with SANY products is not required, as product-specific training will be provided.
