Job summary

Valmet in Sweden is seeking a Service Engineer to maintain and optimize online fiber and pulp analyzers and laboratory analyzers. You will plan, execute, and report service visits, calibrate equipment, and provide remote support, working closely with customers and the local team as well as Kajaani product group.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, experience with analyzers is a plus, strong teamwork, Swedish and English fluency, a valid B license, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with analyzers or consistency measurement systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the pulp and paper industry.
• Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel within Scandinavia.

Responsibilities

• Service Engineer for analyzers and measurement equipment.
• Perform service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs at customer sites.
• Plan, execute, and report on your own service visits.
• Commission and calibrate new equipment.
• Provide remote support via telephone and remote connection tools.
• Collaborate with the Scandinavian sales team and the product group in Kajaani, Finland.
