Job summary

Cytiva in Uppsala, Sweden, seeks a Fast Trak Process, Operations and Training Specialist to drive end-to-end delivery of Fast Trak trainings and on-site customer activities. You will coordinate lab setup, materials, equipment readiness and DBS initiatives, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will collaborate with scientists and regional/global teams to deliver high-quality trainings and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • MSc in biotechnology, bioprocess/biomedical engineering or related life sciences field.
  • Life Science industry background with laboratory related activities and responsibilities.
  • Experience working with chromatographic methods (e.g., affinity chromatography, SEC, IEX) is advantageous.
  • English as working language.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers attending Fast Trak trainings and on-site events, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead and coordinate operational aspects of training delivery in close cooperation with Fast Trak scientists, including lab and training room preparation, training materials, equipment readiness, consumables availability, and compliance with EHS requirements.
  • Generate training quotes and support customer pre-sales discussions, ensuring operational feasibility and alignment.
  • Support customer PD projects when needed, leveraging hands-on operational and lab knowledge.
  • For training offerings, developing and maintaining relationships with the regional commercial and marketing teams, as well as the global Fast Trak organizations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and DBS initiatives while contributing to a safe, compliant, and efficient laboratory environment and building strong relationships with regional commercial, marketing, and global Fast Trak teams.

The Fast Trak Operations and Training Specialist is an operations-focused role embedded within the Fast Trak labs, responsible for the end-to-end execution excellence of Fast Trak training courses and related on-site customer activities. The role acts as the primary operational interface between customers, scientists, and lab operations to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery of trainings.

This position reports to the Section Manager Fast Trak and is part of Clinical Programs located in Uppsala, Sweden and will be an on-site role.

What you will do

Who you are
  • MSc in biotechnology, bioprocess/biomedical engineering or related life sciences field.

  • English as working language.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
  • Experience from customer-facing roles.
  • Swedish as working language.
