As Stockholm International School´s Facilities and Operations Manager, you are responsible for leading and managing the school's non-academic operational tasks. You have the personnel and budgetary responsibility for three units, which include: Facilities and Maintenance, Kitchen staff, and the Security team.
In this role, you maintain a strong presence in the day-to-day operations, working closely with both the staff reporting to you and other functions across the school. You focus on developing well-structured, proactive teams that can anticipate needs and minimise delays. In close collaboration with the school’s leadership teams, you play a key role in driving effective maintenance planning and ensuring the long-term strategic development of security and safety practices.

You therefore need to have the ability to adapt yourself and your team to changing circumstances, quickly change approaches and priorities, and make decisions. You will share information and provide continuous feedback to the teams while following up and ensuring the work is completed according to the expected quality. You are also reliable and stand by your opinions by seeing the big picture and prioritising the right issues to achieve the organisation's goals.
