Our main office is in Mölndal, in the growing life science cluster at GoCo Health Innovation City. We also have an office at Medicon Village in Lund and are expanding to Forskaren in Stockholm.

We are seeking experienced statisticians who are passionate about medical research and confident in independently leading projects and teams. Your ability to build trusted client relationships and contribute to APNC Sweden’s continued development will be as important as your technical expertise.

As an experienced statistician, you will provide scientific leadership and methodological expertise across the full lifecycle of clinical studies. You will help ensure statistical rigor, regulatory compliance, and the use of innovative, fit-for-purpose analytical approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead statistical activities in clinical trials and research projects
• Design complex studies and apply advanced statistical methods
• Develop and review study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and statistical reports
• Oversee and conduct statistical analyses and programming using SAS, R, or Python
• Serve as a key statistical contact in client and stakeholder meetings
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and scientific publications
• Mentor colleagues, lead teams, and support internal knowledge development
• Drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• An MSc in statistics, mathematical statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline; a PhD is an advantage
• Substantial statistical experience in clinical or medical research
• Proven ability to lead projects and communicate confidently with clients
• Documented experience of leading or mentoring a team
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidelines
• Strong skills in advanced statistical methods and statistical programming

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of SEK 50,000–60,000, depending on experience; several positions may be filled
• Performance-based annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary
• SEK 20,000 and 40 working hours per year for courses and conferences
