Job summary

Mölnlycke, a global medical solutions company, is seeking a Biostatistician for our HQ in Gothenburg. You will provide statistical expertise across the lifecycle of clinical studies, from design through analysis and reporting, collaborating with clinical, medical, HEOR, data management and cross‑functional teams.

You will contribute to study designs, SAPs, SARs and CIRs, develop robust analyses (preferably in R) and ensure analyses meet quality and GCP standards while supporting evidence

Qualifications

  • MSc in Biostatistics or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in statistics in medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO environments.
  • Solid understanding of clinical research methodology and study design.
  • Strong statistical programming skills, preferably in R.
  • Experience supporting clinical study analyses and statistical reporting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex stats to diverse audiences.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide statistical input into clinical study designs, including sample size calculations and study methodology.
  • Contribute to protocol development, CIP and SAPs.
  • Develop, validate and quality control statistical analyses and outputs, preferably using R.
  • Generate and review Tables, Lists and Figures for clinical studies.
  • Support preparation of SARs and CIRs.
  • Collaborate with Data Management to ensure data quality and analysis readiness.
  • Interpret and communicate statistical findings to clinical, medical and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure analyses are conducted according to quality standards and Good Clinical Practice.

As a Biostatistician within the Clinical Data and Statistical Science team, you will provide statistical expertise across the lifecycle of clinical studies, from study design through analysis and reporting. Working closely with clinical, medical, HEOR, data management and cross‑functional teams, your insights will support evidence generation, scientific communication and key business decisions.

Here's how you'll make an impact
  • Provide statistical input into clinical study designs, including sample size calculations and study methodology.
  • Contribute to protocol development, Clinical Investigation Plans (CIPs) and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs).
  • Develop, validate and quality control statistical analyses and outputs, preferably using R.
  • Generate and review Tables, Listings and Figures (TLFs) for clinical studies.
  • Support the preparation of Statistical Analysis Reports (SARs) and Clinical Investigation Reports (CIRs).
  • Collaborate with Data Management teams to ensure data quality and analysis readiness.

  • Ensure analyses are conducted according to applicable quality standards and Good Clinical Practice requirements.

What You Bring
Must Have
  • MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in statistics, preferably in medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO environment.
