Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment in Eskilstuna, Sweden, is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer for our Wheel Loader and Articulated Hauler Electrical System team. You will contribute to defining requirements, designing wiring harnesses, and developing electrical schematics for advanced machines.

You will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborate with suppliers, test solutions on our machines, and help drive electrification and connectivity initiatives.

You will work with a wide range of electrical engineering challenges, from harness design to more advanced technologies such as radar systems and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Your responsibilities will include defining requirements for electrical components in collaboration with suppliers, developing electrical schematics, and designing wiring harnesses. You will also have the opportunity to test and validate your solutions directly onourmachines.

Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role we believe that you have an engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Product design or similar.
