Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver internal and external events, customer visits and meetings. You will manage travel, venues and attendee communications to ensure a professional and seamless experience across regions.

The role requires strong project management, proactive problem solving and a service-minded attitude. The position is based in Sandviken, on-site, with collaboration across functions and international partners.

Qualifications

  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and communication activities.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage invitations, registrations, attendee communication and event logistics.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, transportation, restaurants and other visitor-related activities when required.
  • Measure outcomes, collect feedback and identify opportunities to improve future events and processes.

You plan, coordinate and deliver internal and external events, customer visits, meetings and digital experiences. From the initial concept through execution and follow-up, you ensure every detail is in place and every participant receives a professional and seamless experience.

Job responsibilities:

Location and flexibility

The role is based in Sandviken, and you work on-site.

Your profile

You bring experience from event coordination, project management, hospitality, communications or a related field. Working with multiple activities simultaneously comes naturally to you, and you enjoy creating structure while ensuring a high-quality experience for customers and stakeholders. Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English are essential.

Your background includes:

  • Experience planning and executing events, meetings, customer visits or similar activities.
  • Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools.
  • Experience working with event platforms, project management systems or digital event tools is an advantage.
