Hitachi Energy is seeking a Workplace Investigator to join the Integrity function. You will handle investigations from intake to closure, coordinating with legal, HR, and other stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data collection, interviews, and rigorous report writing while upholding the company’s Code of Conduct. Ideal candidates have exposure to corporate investigations, background in Law/HR/Audit, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate/workplace investigations.
• Background in Law, HR or Audit preferred.
• Strong character: determination, independence, flexibility, good judgment, attention to detail, protecting company assets and reputation.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with eDiscovery tooling (Zylab/Relativity).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; management skills are an asset.
• Intercultural sensitivity without compromising integrity.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Head of OSI – Labor/Workplace matters, deliver a wide range of investigations alone or with others (Legal & Integrity, HR).
• Data collection/forensic analysis; interviews of whistleblowers, witnesses, victims, and subjects; report writing and related duties as needed.
• Communicate with disciplinary committees at various levels in the Group.
• Operate regionally and, if needed, globally.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
• Provide training to Legal & Integrity and HR to enhance investigative skills.
• Provide regular support to HR.
• Support improvements to internal controls (Lessons Learned).
• Support advancement of the function to the next level of maturity.
