Job summary
Cebon Industrial in Gothenburg seeks a Head of Engineering to lead and grow the Engineering function for Battery & Energy Solutions. You will be the technical expert, shaping the direction and supporting growth across European OEM projects, while remaining hands-on in complex customer work.
You will translate customer needs into scalable architectures, drive the technology roadmap, and collaborate with Sales, Product Management and suppliers. Monthly travel within Europe is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in batteries, battery technologies, power electronics or related industrial energy applications.
- Experience leading engineers and driving technical projects, with potential for broader leadership growth.
- Experience in customer-driven environments or OEM projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Engineering team and set priorities and ways of working.
- Define the technical roadmap for batteries, BMS, chargers, power electronics and energy storage.
- Lead technical activities in OEM projects from requirements to implementation.
- Translate customer requirements into system architectures and feasible solutions.
- Support Sales and Product teams in customer discussions, tenders, and supplier selection.
- Drive technical evaluations and make-or-buy decisions.
- Ensure quality, regulatory compliance and risk management in Engineering processes.
