Job summary

Cebon Industrial, a unit of the Cebon Group, is seeking a Head of Engineering – Battery & Energy Solutions in Gothenburg. You will lead and grow the engineering function, stay hands-on in complex customer projects, and define the technical direction for batteries, BMS, chargers, and energy storage across Europe.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, suppliers and customers, expanding a small team into a broader function while traveling monthly in Europe.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in batteries and energy solutions.
• Experience leading engineers and driving technical projects.
• Experience with OEM customers and customer-driven work.
• Ability translate complex technical needs into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering team and set priorities.
• Define technical roadmap for batteries, BMS, chargers, and energy storage.
• Lead OEM projects from requirements to implementation.
• Translate customer requirements into architectures and specs.
• Support Sales/Product teams in discussions, tenders, and supplier selection.
• Drive evaluations and make buy/partner decisions.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
