Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation in Sweden seeks an experienced Sourcing Director to lead regional procurement strategy across equipment and spare parts. You will build a high-performing team, drive supplier partnerships, and collaborate with Operations, R&D, Finance, and Commercial to unlock cost and value opportunities.

The role requires 10+ years in procurement, a master’s degree, and strong negotiation and analytics. Travel up to 50% and a commitment to sustainable sourcing are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in SCM/Engineering/Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement and sourcing experience in technical/industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading procurement teams in a multinational organization.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages advantageous.
• Experience with SAP, LN or similar ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional sourcing strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Drive procurement excellence across direct and indirect sourcing categories.
• Lead supplier partnerships and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Service, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams to align sourcing with business priorities.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and KPI governance.
• Drive improvements in quality, delivery, inventory, and total cost of ownership.
• Support demand planning and supply continuity initiatives.
• Ensure effective use of procurement systems and data analytics.
• Lead organizational change in a complex international environment.
