Job summary

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB seeks a technically strong Product Owner to lead a Verification & Test Automation team focused on Driver Information and Infotainment in automotive systems. You will own the test automation roadmap, manage the backlog, and drive collaboration with software, test, and AI specialists to deliver high-quality, scalable automation solutions.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on automation development, testing infrastructure, and regression testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as Product Owner or Technical Lead in test automation projects, preferably automotive or infotainment.
• Strong Android platform understanding and debugging with ADB.
• Hands-on programming with Python, C#, CAPL, and Docker.
• Solid knowledge of test automation architecture and verification strategies.
• Understanding of HIL/SIL and cloud-based testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML in testing, anomaly detection, and intelligent test-case selection.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and stakeholder coordination.
• ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE knowledge; CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols.
• Experience with AAOS/IVI systems; Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gerrit, Git; JIRA/Confluence.

About the Role

As Product Owner, you will own the test automation roadmap and backlog, lead prioritization, and ensure alignment with software development milestones and quality objectives. You will work closely with software developers, test engineers, system architects, and AI specialists to evolve test strategies and deliver reliable, high‑performance automotive infotainment systems.

The role combines strategic planning with practical technical involvement in automation development, testing infrastructure, regression testing, and CI/CD integration.

Define the feature roadmap and prioritize deliverables to meet software development milestones.

Own and manage the test automation product backlog for Android infotainment systems.

Lead the test automation team, ensuring stable, scalable, and quality‑focused testing infrastructure.

Define and communicate user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria.

Develop and evolve test architecture aligned with system design and verification objectives.

Provide hands‑on support for test automation development using Python, C#, CAPL, Docker, and AI‑based testing approaches.

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.

Drive automated regression testing and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor test execution, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers on root‑cause analysis.

Explore AI‑driven testing methods and continuously improve test frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Skills & requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Lead in test automation projects, preferably within automotive or infotainment systems.

Strong technical understanding of the Android platform and debugging using Android Debug Bridge (ADB).

Hands‑on programming or scripting experience with Python, C#, and CAPL, along with Docker.

Solid knowledge of test automation architecture and verification strategies.

Understanding of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and cloud‑based testing frameworks.

Exposure to AI/ML applications in testing, such as anomaly detection and intelligent test‑case selection.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and stakeholder coordination.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience with automotive software quality standards, including ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).

Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.

Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or In‑Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.

Familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gerrit, and Git.

Experience with test management and requirements tools such as JIRA, SystemWeaver, SE Tool, and Confluence.
