IAR by Qt Group is seeking a Software Engineer to own the license client components across our product portfolio. You will work on the license client from client machines to services and infrastructure, with exposure to cloud and on-premises licensing workflows.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in C++ software development.
• Automation and scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
• Experience building or integrating web services and APIs.
• Comfortable working across both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with containerized development using Docker.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the license client software used across IAR's products to access and validate licenses.
• Support and evolve our cloud-based, subscription licensing platform alongside our on-premises offering.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the client and backend services, including occasional work in our license back-office systems.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the team on architecture, priorities, and technical decisions.
• Get involved in wider platform work, including web services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
