Job summary

IAR by Qt Group is seeking a Software Engineer in the Test team to build and improve the tools, automation, and infrastructure behind our testing. You'll work with established in-house solutions and newer technologies, learning how our systems operate and crafting better ways to help engineers test software effectively across Windows and Linux.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python or Ruby in professional or personal projects.
• Interest in automation, developer tools, test tools, or similar software.
• Curiosity and willingness to work across languages and codebases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git or GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve tools, test frameworks, and automation.
• Find ways to make testing easier, faster, and more reliable.
• Work with CI/CD and help ensure automated tests run smoothly.
• Collaborate on builds and packaging across Windows and Linux.
• Understand existing tools and codebases and propose improvements.
• Partner with Software Test Engineers and developers to solve testing problems.
