Job summary

ESAB is seeking an Experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer to design, implement, and optimize software for embedded platforms. You will join the Digital Solution Connectivity team and contribute to the software platform connecting ESAB equipment to InduSuite, working across embedded, network, and cloud components.

You'll apply strong software engineering practices to deliver reliable, scalable, high-quality solutions, collaborating with R&D stakeholders and taking ownership of design,

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years working experience with software design.
B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain embedded Linux software components.
Debug and troubleshoot across application code, Embedded Linux, and hardware.
Contribute to software architecture decisions and technical investigations.
Plan and estimate software work and document procedures.
