Job summary

Qt Group in Sweden is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our IAR embedded software team. You will work with customers to understand embedded projects, toolchains, CI/CD setups, and compliance needs, translating challenges into practical solutions.

In this role you’ll partner with Sales, support evaluations, onboarding, and adoption, and help drive long‑term success. Strong C/C++ knowledge, embedded workflows, and excellent English communication are essential to build trusted customer

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of C and C++.
• Experience with embedded developer workflows (builds, debugging, source control).
• Excellent English communication and ability to discuss technical topics with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales throughout the customer journey, providing technical expertise to progress opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery of customers' embedded environments and translate to solutions.
• Support evaluations with environment validation, issue reproduction and guidance.
• Assist onboarding and post‑sales adoption with targeted technical help and training.
• Build strong long‑term relationships as a trusted technical partner to customers and Sales.
• Share customer insights with product teams to improve solutions.
