Job summary

Sunmedic AB in Sweden seeks an Electronics Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and quality control for medical devices. The role focuses on development, testing, and quality assurance of electronic medical devices, including the VivereX NPWT system.

You will collaborate with production, quality, regulatory affairs, and maintenance to deliver safe, reliable electronics. A bachelor’s or master’s degree is required; familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and IEC 62304 is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, electrical, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in electronics development and embedded software for medical devices or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, MDR) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve electronics designs (hardware) for medical devices.
• Design, perform, and document verification and validation testing of electronics and embedded systems.
• Quality control of electronic components and finished products including inspections and testing.
• Ensure compliance with medical device requirements and standards; maintain DHF/risk analysis.
