jobr.pro in Sweden seeks an on-site electronics technician to support prototype builds and component integration. You will rework PCBs, replace components, and assemble mechanical parts, interfacing with multiple teams and customers to enable local modifications.

Qualifications

  • Higher Vocational Education degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with hands-on training.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Experience installing and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Basic programming and diagnostics of control units.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site technical expert for hands‑on electrical engineering activities.
  • Perform PCB rework, component replacement and mechanical assembly as needed.
  • Procure and manage electronic and mechanical components for prototyping and testing, including supplier communication and order follow-up.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to support prototype development, testing and accessory integration; ensure ESD and safety compliance; conduct functional verification prior to release.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams, maintaining clear communication and project alignment.

Job Description

In this role, you will serve as the on-site technical expert for hands‑on electrical engineering activities in Sweden. In this role, you will:

  • Act as the key link between different functions within the organization, enabling local modifications. Your responsibilities will include manual rework operations on printed circuit boards (PCBs) for prototype builds, component replacement, and mechanical assembly.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and technical drawings to support prototype development, troubleshooting, testing, and accessory integration activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with ESD and safety requirements, as well as performing functional verification prior to release.
  • Responsible for the procurement, ordering, and management of electronic and mechanical components for prototyping and test-activities, as well as supplier communication, order follow-up, specification verification, and coordination with other teams.
  • Work closely with our customers, and therefore strong communication skills are essential.

This is a resident role, meaning that you will be employed by AUMOVIO while working on‑site at one of AUMOVIO’s customer companies.

Requirements:
  • Higher Vocational Education degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, including significant hands‑on practical training;
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to read theelectrical schematics;
  • Knowledge intest equipment usage (oscilloscopes and multimeters);
  • Experience in installation and maintenance of electrical systems;
  • Basic programming and diagnostics skills of control units.
  • Hands‑on experience of troubleshooting faults in real‑world systems.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Swedish
