About the Role

You will take on a broad electrical engineering role in an international industrial environment where reliable control systems are critical to the final solution. The work spans the full lifecycle of electrical design, from early concept work and detailed design to implementation, testing and handover.

In this role, you will help create solutions with a strong focus on safety, quality, reliability, sustainability and cost efficiency. You will work closely with project teams and other stakeholders, combining hands‑on engineering with coordination and technical problem‑solving. What makes this role especially interesting is the wide scope and the opportunity to influence both the design details and the finished system.

Job Description

• Design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and components based on technical needs and required specifications.
• Translate customer requirements into practical electrical solutions that balance functionality, safety, quality and economy.
• Read and work from design specifications and technical drawings to drive the design forward.
• Evaluate suitable technical solutions and contribute to estimates for cost and timescales.
• Collaborate with project team members and the line organization to move the work forward efficiently.
• Work with external stakeholders such as clients and contractors when needed.
• Support qualification of the final product or system and contribute during implementation and testing.
• Take part in service and maintenance activities connected to the equipment.
• Prepare product documentation, write reports and present technical information in a clear way.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Eplan P8.
• Familiarity with global standards for electrical control panels, especially IEC (EN60204).
• Electrical Engineering education or equivalent experience.
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pro Panel.
• Experience with routing.
