Job summary
Valmet is seeking a Manager, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Engineering to lead a global Project Execution team within PEC. You will guide EI&C project execution, manage resources, and ensure harmonized ways of working across locations, with involvement in design reviews and deviations from standards.
The role requires a MSc/BSc in engineering, 5+ years in EI&C, strong leadership, collaboration across stakeholders, English and Swedish language skills, and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in engineering (Electrical, Automation or similar field)
- At least 5 years of experience in EI&C engineering, preferably within the pulp and energy sector
- Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Ability to collaborate globally and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and guide teams
- Proficiency in English and Swedish
- Willingness to travel at least 20% of time
Responsibilities
- Support delivery projects and sales phases, resourcing, and design reviews within EI&C disciplines
- Coordinate deviations from product standards; manage cost estimation, scheduling and quality assurance of engineering activities
- Mentor and guide your team to meet project goals
