Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to coordinate all engineering activities within a complex EPC project. The role includes design planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessments, and resource coordination to ensure cost-effective delivery in line with contract specs and quality standards.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage conflicts, and drive progress by prioritizing time, cost, and scope, reporting to the Project Director within a PEM/PIM

Qualifications

• University degree with experience in people and project management.
• Experience on large complex projects, preferably civil engineering.
• HVDC or PMI/PMP experience is a plus.

• Curious about technology and innovative thinking.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities across disciplines to meet contract specs, budgets and schedules.
• Plan, manage and control the engineering scope within EPC projects; develop budgets and schedules; assess risks.
• Coordinate resources, stakeholders and information flows; resolve conflicts and trade-offs to keep progress.
• Report to the Project Director and work within PEM and PIM structures.
