Job summary

Cyient Limited is seeking a Project Leader in Electrical Engineering & Automation to drive design across projects, manage scope, schedule, quality and costs, and lead multidisciplinary teams. You will support sales in proposals and steer project execution while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 7–9 years in electrical engineering or automation, English and Swedish fluency, and willingness to travel for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation (required).
• 7–9 years of experience in electrical engineering and/or automation design.
• Strong technical expertise with knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and directives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and Swedish.
• Leadership experience with the ability to build and lead international teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work on-site during project phases.
• Experience with engineering business culture and customer interaction is valued.
• Previous experience in global project environments is an advantage.
• Practical industrial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate electrical engineering and automation work in multidisciplinary projects.
• Monitor and report progress including costs, quality, and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for additional work and actively pursue scope expansion.

Project Leader – Electrical Engineering & Automation

We are looking for a dedicated Project Leader to drive the electrical engineering and automation design within our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, quality, and costs within your discipline. As the technical project leader for electrical engineering and automation, you will play a key role throughout the sales and proposal phases as well as lead the project execution and delivery. You will maintain strong customer relationships and represent Cyient professionally and effectively.
