Job summary

Saab is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for Saab ATM to design, develop, and operate the build and deployment infrastructure that supports our software products. You will help ensure reliable, secure, and efficient development and production environments while driving CI/CD improvements in a transition to agile practices.

You will work on Linux-based systems (Red Hat and Debian derivatives), using Python, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, C++, containers, Kubernetes, and modern networking and

Qualifications

• A MSc in Computer Science or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining C++ projects.
• Networking knowledge equivalent to CCNA level, including IP network design, switch configuration (Cisco/Juniper), and common network services.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes, ideally at CKA level.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• A security-conscious mindset, with knowledge of OS hardening, TLS, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain build and deployment infrastructure.
• Develop and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer and automate Linux systems, preferring scripted, repeatable solutions over manual work.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot IP networks.
• Monitor and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Support Saab ATM in adopting AI tools and methods.
