Job summary

Saab Automobile AB in Sweden is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for Saab ATM to design and operate the infrastructure behind our software products. You will work at the intersection of development, infrastructure and security, driving agile CI/CD adoption.

In a Linux-based stack (Red Hat/Debian), you will use Python, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, C++, containers and Kubernetes to automate pipelines, monitor systems and harden security.

Qualifications

• MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Solid Linux admin skills (Red Hat and/or Debian derivatives).
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience building/maintaining C++ projects.
• Networking knowledge at CCNA level; IP network design and switch config.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes; preferably CKA level.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Security-minded with OS hardening, TLS, and PKI.

Your Role

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Saab ATM, you will play a key role in developing and operating the infrastructure that supports our software products. Working at the intersection of software development, infrastructure, and security, you will help ensure that our development and production environments are reliable, secure, and efficient. As we transition from traditional waterfall processes towards a more agile way of working with continuous integration and delivery, you will play an active part in driving that change.

You will work in an environment based on Linux (Red Hat and Debian derivatives), using technologies such as Python, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, C++, containers, Kubernetes and modern networking and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain build and deployment infrastructure.

Your Profile

• A MSc in Computer Science or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
• Solid Linux system administration skills (Red Hat and/or Debian derivatives).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining C++ projects.
• Networking knowledge equivalent to CCNA level, including IP network design, switch configuration (Cisco/Juniper), and common network services.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes, ideally at CKA level.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• A security‑conscious mindset, with knowledge of OS hardening, TLS, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
