Job summary

Mynt is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the infrastructure team and help scale our AWS-based environment securely and reliably. You will design, build, and optimize deployments, tooling, and automation with a strong bias toward scalability.

You will collaborate with the Chief Architect, DevOps, developers and security to ensure resilient systems, while maintaining an automation mindset and handling operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including deep hands-on AWS expertise.
• Strong Linux and Docker/containerization skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
• Understanding of networking, the OSI model and certificate management.
• Experience with security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Fluent in Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Work in AWS-based infrastructure, from design to operations and rearchitecting.
• Manage and improve our CI/CD pipelines, internal developer tooling and deployment workflows.
• Work with Terraform, ECS and Docker to build and maintain environments.
• Ensure that security best practices, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery processes are in place.
• Collaborate in architecture discussions and influence technical decisions.

As a DevOps Engineer at Mynt, you’ll play a key role in designing, maintaining, and improving our AWS-based infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the Chief Architect, other DevOps, developers, product managers, and security to ensure our systems are scalable, resilient, and secure. You have an automation mindset and understand how to build infrastructure that scales in usage and capabilities over time.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll:

• Work in our AWS based infrastructure, from design to operations and rearchitecting

• Manage and improve our CI/CD pipelines, internal developer tooling and deployment workflows

• Work with Terraform, ECS and Docker to build and maintain environments

• Ensure that security best practices, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery processes are in place

What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including deep hands-on AWS expertise

• Strong skills in Linux and containerized environments (Docker)

• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ Ansible)

• A solid understanding of computer networking, the OSI model and Certificate Management

• Experience working with security, backup, and disaster recovery

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

• A Bachelor’s or Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)

• Fluent in Swedish
