Job summary

Mynt is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to scale our AWS-based infrastructure in a fast-growing fintech environment. You will design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable systems from development to production.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible and ECS, owning automation, security postures and disaster recovery planning while supporting a highly skilled team in Stockholm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with deep hands-on AWS expertise.
• Strong Linux and containerized environments (Docker).
• Proven Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform/Ansible).
• Understanding of networking, OSI, and certificate management.
• Experience in security, backup, and disaster recovery; CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Swedish.

As a DevOps Engineer at Mynt, you’ll play a key role in designing, maintaining, and improving our AWS-based infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the Chief Architect, other DevOps, developers, product managers, and security to ensure our systems are scalable, resilient, and secure. You have an automation mindset and understand how to build infrastructure that scales in usage and capabilities over time.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll:

• Work in our AWS based infrastructure, from design to operations and rearchitecting
• Manage and improve our CI/CD pipelines, internal developer tooling and deployment workflows
• Work with Terraform, ECS and Docker to build and maintain environments
• Ensure that security best practices, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery processes are in placeCollaborate in architecture discussions and influence technical decisions

What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including deep hands-on AWS expertise
• Strong skills in Linux and containerized environments (Docker)
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ Ansible)
• A solid understanding of computer networking, the OSI model and Certificate Management
• Experience working with security, backup, and disaster recovery
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• A Bachelor’s or Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
• Fluent in Swedish
