Job summary

Integro Consulting AB in Sweden is seeking a Senior Developer Platform Engineer to drive secure, scalable solutions that fit into engineering workflows. You will champion developer experience and collaborate across teams to remove pain points and accelerate AI-enabled software development.

The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift, Azure, and modern DevOps practices, with opportunities to experiment with AI and Backstage/IDPs to modernize our client's platform.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Kubernetes or OpenShift deployments and core resources.
• Cloud platforms (Azure).
• CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions).
• Automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Software engineering background (Python, TypeScript, React).
• Hands-on with container technologies (Docker).
• Git-based workflows and modern collaboration practices.
• DevSecOps and secure-by-design principles.
• Experience or strong understanding of AI in software development.
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
• Experience in automotive DevSecOps is a plus.

We are looking for an Senior Developer Platform Engineer for our our client in the automotive industry.

Job description:

In this role you will:

• Create reusable, extensible, and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly into engineering workflows
• Make the Golden Path the easiest path for our colleagues
• Experiment and build with AI (LLMs, agents, MCP) to rethink how software is built in our client and how it can help in the software development process of the future
• Partner closely with teams to understand pain points and how to eliminate them
• Continuously evolve the existing solutions based on real usage and feedback
• Raise the bar for developer experience across the organization

Skills required:

• Strong DevSecOps fundamentals and mindset
• Knowledge about AI and how it changes software development process

Experience required:

• Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and modern collaboration practices
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps and secure-by-design principles
• Experience or strong conceptual understanding of AI and its usage in software development
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
• Plus if you have experience from working with DevSecOps within the automotive industry.
