Are you a driven engineer who wants to shape the next generation of products at SWEP? We are now looking for a Design Engineer to join our Product Engineering team (R&D) in Landskrona. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle—from tool design to global updates. You will drive processes at a global scale, coordinate with international colleagues and play a key role in developing our product portfolio.
Our dedicated Product Engineering team manages everything from new product development to design modifications, ensuring a highly competitive product portfolio. Since our manufacturing setup is global, you will collaborate closely with international colleagues to coordinate projects and implement process updates worldwide. In this role, you will be highly involved in every step of the process, requiring a strong sense of ownership and drive.
Your daily tasks will include the design of cut- and forming tools as well as BPHE components. You will also plan and execute mechanical verifications, manage component changes, and author technical reports while providing vital product and tool expertise to our Landskrona plant. For our design work, we use Autodesk Inventor paired with Teamcenter PDM.
You will join a cross‑functional team consisting of Design Engineers, Product Engineers, Project Managers and Prototype Technicians.
This role is full‑time and based in Landskrona. We offer the flexibility that life sometimes requires, but we believe that collaboration and value creation happen best when we sit and work together from our office. You will be reporting to the Product Engineering Manager based in Landskrona.
We believe you are a driven and structured team player with a passion for mechanical design. You genuinely enjoy hands‑on CAD work, detail engineering and solving practical technical challenges. As a strong communicator, you take full ownership of your tasks while collaborating smoothly with your project team.
