Job summary

Inditex seeks a Department Manager in Göteborg to lead store operations and drive team performance for Massimo Dutti.

You will recruit, train, communicate with sales, ensure Visual Merchandising reflects trends, and cover duties in the Store Manager's absence. Fluency in English and basic Swedish required; weekend/evening shifts and recruitment event participation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead store and team in coordination with Store Manager.
  • Handle recruitment, absenteeism, feedback, conflicts, motivation.
  • Ensure clear daily communication with sales team and product manager.
  • Oversee training plans, team development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising reflects trends and supports top sellers.
  • Step in for Store Manager duties when needed.

Who we are looking for:
Responsibilities:
  • Managing the store and the team in coordination with the Store Manager
  • Managing people: recruitment, absenteeism, feedback, conflict resolution, motivation
  • Daily effective communication with the sales team and the product manager
  • Following up on the training plan for new hires and managing team development, store succession planning and performance
  • Making sure that Visual Merchandising reflects current trends and enhances best sellers
  • Performing the rest of the store manager's functions in their absence.
Requirements:
  • You have very good command of English language
  • You have basic knowledge of Swedish language
  • You have team management experience
  • You have experience working for fast fashion companies
  • You are flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to attend interview during the recruitment event in Göteborg on October 1st.

Important: This position is part of a project that is co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project aims to support third-country nationals in their integration into the Swedish labor market. The participants hold residence permits in Sweden but do not have Swedish citizenship or EU/EEA citizenship.
