Job summary

Stegra is hiring a Daytime Manager - Warehouse & Workshop Area for its Mill Services Department in Boden. You will lead the warehouse and workshop team daily, ensure materials and tools are available, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to keep flows smooth.

A hands-on leader focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement is essential. You’ll drive smarter working methods, digital tool adoption, and proactive problem solving while maintaining strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with a strong understanding of maintenance operations.
• Experience leading and developing teams in warehouse, inventory, workshop, or maintenance in heavy industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory, spare parts and material flows.
• Experience with WMS, CMMS, ERP or similar digital systems.
• Hands-on approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams and functions.
• Proactive, structured work style with ability to set priorities and keep things moving.
• Very good English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the warehouse and workshop team, plan daily work and ensure resources and knowledge are available.
• Run day-to-day warehouse and workshop operations, ensuring materials reach internal customers safely and on time.
• Keep materials and spare parts under control with accurate inventory and organized storage.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to keep material flows smooth.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards and ensure procedures are followed.
• Plan ahead to keep equipment and systems available, including cranes and refurbishments.
• Improve workflows using performance data and digital tools to enhance safety and efficiency.
