What you’ll do

Right now, we are looking for a Daytime Manager - Warehouse & Workshop Area for our Mill Services Department.

As Daytime Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day work of our warehouse and workshop team, making sure materials are available where and when they’re needed.

You’ll coordinate daily operations, support and develop the team, and work closely with suppliers, delivery companies and internal teams to keep material flows running smoothly. Safety and quality are always part of the job.

You’ll also help us build smarter ways of working in the warehouse – from digital tools and stock management to consignment materials, refurbishments and practical improvements to our processes.

Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.

  • Lead and develop the warehouse and workshop team, planning daily work and making sure the team has the right resources, tools and knowledge.

  • Run the day-to-day warehouse and workshop operations, ensuring materials reach internal customers safely and on time.

  • Keep materials and spare parts under control, with accurate inventory, good availability and well-organized storage.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams to solve issues and keep material flows running smoothly.

  • Keep safety and quality standards high, addressing issues quickly and ensuring agreed procedures and requirements are followed.

  • Plan ahead to keep equipment and systems available, including cranes, workshop activities and refurbishments.

  • Improve how we work, using performance data, digital tools and practical improvements to make warehouse and workshop operations safer, simpler and more efficient.

What you’ll bring

You’re curious and believe that real progress happens when we work together. You’re not afraid to challenge old ways of thinking - and you treat others with respect while doing it. At Stegra, we value people who take initiative, build trust, and help create a workplace where everyone can do their best.
Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree with a strong understanding of maintenance operations.

  • Experience in leading and developing teams in warehouse, inventory, workshop, or maintenance operations within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory, spare parts and material flows.

  • Experience with WMS, CMMS, ERP or similar digital systems.

  • A practical, hands-on approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different teams and functions.

  • A proactive and structured way of working – you can set priorities, solve problems and keep things moving.

  • Very good English. Swedish is a plus.
