Job summary

Stegra is seeking a Shift Manager for the Planning & Shipping team at the Boden site in Northern Sweden. You will lead the shift, coordinate packaging lines, coil warehouse, and shipping, while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires substantial industrial experience and leadership, with a strong emphasis on safety culture, process knowledge, and team empowerment. This is a full-time, on-site position offering competitive compensation and relocation support.

Qualifications

• More than five years of relevant industrial experience, including at least two years of leadership experience; Shift Manager experience is preferred.
• Experience working with safety protocols and standards in heavy industry is required.
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to lead, coach, and empower colleagues with effective delegation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and support the shift team in packaging lines, warehouse, and shipping areas to meet targets.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes and monitor parameters.
• Promote a strong safety culture and address unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Monitor production performance, analyze deviations, and pursue productivity improvements.
• Maintain accurate operational records, data, and inventory, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety-driven initiatives.
