Job summary

Saab AB is seeking a Data & Machine Learning Engineer for the AEW organization in Sweden. The role blends data engineering, analytics and ML to build data pipelines and ML solutions supporting the GlobalEye program across development and testing environments.

You will work with test engineers, systems engineers, software developers, product owners, and domain experts to turn complex data into actionable insights and scalable solutions while maturing data-driven ways of working.

Qualifications

• Masters in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in software development, data engineering, analytics or ML.
• Experience developing with Python and data/ML frameworks.
• Understanding of data pipelines and modern data processing concepts.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders across technical and executive domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for engineering data.
• Develop and improve machine learning workflows and infrastructure.
• Analyze complex datasets and deliver value-driven solutions to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, product owners, and domain experts.
• Help establish data-driven ways of working across the organization.
• Identify opportunities where analytics and ML can improve processes and quality.
• Contribute to projects from concept to deployment and operations.
• Support colleagues in adopting data, analytics, and ML methodologies.
